Wassup Y’all. My name is Tobee MacDonnell (she/her), but you can call me Tobee, and my only language is English, other than the dialect Patois. I was born and raised in Jamaica for the majority of my life until I recently migrated and am now permanently living in the States. I am currently in my freshman year at City College as an undecided student who wants to pursue civil engineering as my official career, with one day owning my own firm. I loved playing soccer for my high school, and my role is being a defender. I love reading with my favorite book being Legend by Marie Lu, which is one of my favorite authors. I feel like people are always surprised when I tell them my mom is Jamaican and my dad is British. I don’t care what anyone says, yes, at my big age I still love playing Roblox, like how could you not love it with all the different games to choose from to play. I have 4 older siblings, and I am the lastborn. I love the whole concept of vampires, and if you’re like me, you would love the series of Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Legacy. These three series are full of a lot of drama and many hooks that will keep you wanting to watch on repeat. I love the outdoors. If it’s a good beach day, or going on a hike or a run, count me in. The best outdoor exploration I’ve done so far was climbing the Manitou Incline in Colorado this past December, with over 2500 steps to climb, with the incline getting steeper as you go. With writing, I tend to have a love-hate relationship. I love to write about things I’m interested in and not other topics that are really boring, as it tends to take me a longer time to complete that writing task. I think I have to learn proper grammar and expand my vocabulary for me to be a better writer.
